Abadon A. Dorrance, born August 19, 1935 in Ocate, New Mexico to Alonzo and Carmen Dorrance. Abadon married Romualdita Ceclia Dorrance (nee Tobin) in October 8, 1955. Abadon and Romualdita had 5 children Vernon, Debra, Lewis, Kenneth and Andrew. Their children provided them with 14 grandchildren and many great grand children.
Abadon worked in construction for many years till he was hired by the Adams Country Fair Ground in Henderson, CO as a Maintenance worker. He started his career with Adams county on 04-01-1967 to 08-12-1991.
On August 12, 1991 Abadon retired from Adams County. He continued to work moving lawns for the community till his health declined in 2014. He was always involved with his family and friends. He had many hobbies including hunting, fishing and camping; Abe was a great outdoors man. He was a great provider for his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all.
