Adele Elaine Westfall

Adele Elaine Westfall, 72, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 28th , 2026. Adele resided in Littleton, CO, and passed away in Denver due to multiple complications from a kidney transplant she received on February 26th, 2026.

Adele was born on November 20th, 1953 in Denver, CO to Millard and Grace James. Adele was the middle-born daughter, coming 7 years after her sister Susan and 10 months before her “Irish twin” Melanie. Raised in Littleton, Adele grew up in the small church community of Littleton Bible Chapel, where she met her husband, Stephen Westfall, at just 7 years old. Adele was a graduate of Bear Creek High Scool, and attended Aprapahoe Community College to earn her associate's degree. Adele wed Stephen Westfall June 18th, 1976. They had two children, Nathanael and Heidi. Adele and Stephen settled in the foothills of the Denver metro area.

Adele was known for her deep love and her unwavering trust in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She had a kind and calm demeanor. Adele was very proud to call herself a homemaker. She was a fierce supporter and advocate for those she cared about, especially her husband and children. Adele enjoyed volunteering with Stephen in various Foothills Bible Church programs, including Awana, children’s worship, being a mentor mom in MOPS, and an elder’s wife while Stephen served as an elder.

Adele was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Grace, as well as her husband, Stephen. She is survived by her children, Nathanael Westfall (and his family) and Heidi Minaga (and her family), her sisters, Susan Woodland and Melanie Putnam.

A celebration of life will be held on August 10th at 10 a.m. at Foothills Bible Church, 6100 S. Devinney Way, Littleton, CO 80127.
