Al was my neighbor for many years in Wheat Ridge, CO.  He and Louise were a darling couple.  Always going out to dance  and dressed to the hilt! 
He had a beautiful family.   Al was so very talented in decorating and with his woodworking projects.  Al was a true gentleman and such a pleasure to know.  What a guy.

Al was a friend of my dad and myself.  Since 1992 we enjoyed his wit, gentleness and creativity.  Enjoying breakfasts, lunches and garage sailing, Al became my dad after my own dad's passing. I especially enjoyed praying with him after our visits.  We both agreed that, "Life is fragile and eternity is a long time."  Know where you are going!  Many times we prayed and asked Christ to forgive us of our failures.  Such a dear friend and confidant. :(  Until we meet again.

A dear, enduring friend of my dad's and I alike.  Since the early 90's I've been blessed in knowing his adventurous spirit, wit and humor.  Enjoying his company and wisdom at breakfast and lunch outings, garage sales and with one of a kind wood working projects, Al became a second dad to me after my own father's passing. So grateful most of all, to enjoy praying with him and talking of eternity.  The past few years we would always end our visits with the fact that, "Life is fragile, and eternity is a long time!" We'd then pray to ask Christ afresh to forgive us of our flailings.  I will so miss you my sweet, one of a kind friend.  You've been my confidant and partner in crime in the unique and unusual.  Tell my dad I said hello.... love you... until we meet again.  Heidi:)

Al was an amazing person.  He had a GREAT sense of humor, smiled brightly, loved life, loved his family and friends, danced through life, creative with his carpentry skills and was a very loving soul. I was so blessed to know Al and spend some time with him.  I still have a painting that he painted, and several wood end tables that he made for me. I will cherish them forever!  Keep Dancing! Al was an amazing person - kind, generous and talented.  He was ageless and will be missed by many.

I had the privilege of going with Al to Wings Over the Rockies Museum and hearing some of his stories serving in the Army Air Corp (now Air Force).  The ironic part is that the museum was the same building that he had to sweep the floor when he first joined the service.  That was a great afternoon with him that I will always cherish.  What a wonderful man, you will be missed.

What an amazing life and family.  He had a great sense of humor, loved his family, his work, dancing, always dapper in cool shoes and clothes, his woodworking and gardening!  Thank you for your service and see you on the other side.  Love and miss you ! Shannon

Most assuredly in loving memory of Al.  To me he was a prince among men. A cheerful and interesting man who loved his family and loved his many friends. I will miss him very much.  He enriched my life and he'll not be forgotten....he'll live on in my heart.  May our Lord God bless this beautiful man.
