My dear sweet Al passed away. He was born in Detroit,Michigan. He graduated from Highland Park High School, Highland Park, Illinois class of 1956. He studied business administration graduating from Upsala College in New Jersey. His career was in insurance and corporate reinsurance.
Al served in the Army as a medical specialist, fulfilling his service obligation and being honorably discharged in August of 1968. He completed his training at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
Music and movies filled his life. He loved to listen to theme music from movie westerns. He built his own stereo when he was younger. As vinyl faded he connected Pandora to his computer to enjoy listening to all types of music.
He was an avid photographer his entire life taking more than 33,000 pictures. He aptly compiled them on his computer. Many an evening he would walk down memory lane viewing his pictures from his life and travels. Cruises were a special part of his travels enjoying Alaska, the Caribbean, Canada and New England in the Fall, the Mediterranean, Puerto Vallarta and the Panama Canal.
He was a member of Denver Astronomy Club. Adventures of camping in the Rocky Mountainsto view the Milky Way gave him great enjoyment during the summer months. Mother nature, music, family and friends together viewing the stars telescopically was where it was at for Al.
He dearly loved his children and family his entire life.
