Angus W. Pomeroy

Angus was born on September 15, 1936, in Saskatchewan, Canada to his parents Lucy and Gerald Pomeroy. He was the 8th of 11 children.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Carol G. (Flaa) Pomeroy who passed away in January of 2016. Residing at different times in St. Paul, MN; Albuquerque, NM; Littleton, CO and Aurora, CO.

Born in Canada he was incredibly proud of becoming a United States Citizen in 1976. After coming to the United States, he found his niche in optimizing business performance. He was active in the bottling, manufacturing, real estate, and medical industries. His attention to detail allowed him to fully understand and improve any business he joined or founded.

One of his greatest joys in life was spending time with his family. He always made it a point to be available for any event or celebration. His final years were spent traveling or planning to travel.

Angus is survived by his four children and six grandchildren: Scott Pomeroy and Janis of Littleton, CO and his children Paige Salter and Rachele of Grand Junction, Amy Russo and Chris of Centennial, CO, Rachel Pomeroy of Colorado Springs, CO; Lorrie Calvert of Mesa, Arizona and her son Jacob of Mesa, Arizona: Debra Marquez and Scotland of Albuquerque, NM; Daniel Pomeroy and Beth of Louisville, KY and his children Chelsey Pomeroy of Bowling Green, KY, Kyle Pomeroy and Sarah of Fairdale, KY; and two sisters, Patricia Hartnell of Victoria, BC and Lola Pomeroy of Canada along with many nieces and nephews.

Angus is predeceased by his parents and siblings: Clare Pomeroy, Joyce Pomeroy, Mel Pomeroy, Ronald Pomeroy, Edward Pomeroy, Kenneth Pomeroy, Isabel Pomeroy and Gordon Pomeroy.

It was Angus’s wish for the family to celebrate his life when they could all be together in one location so there will not be a memorial service at this time. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Fellowship of Christian Athletes in his name to further the work he has supported.
