

Beth Ann (Alger) Rohr, age 54 resident of Steamboat Springs Colorado and former resident of Greenwood Village Colorado, passed away Wednesday June 21, 2017 in Steamboat Springs. Beth was born in Kenilworth Illinois to Bette (Whiteside) Alger and William Hart Alger III. She graduated from New Trier High School and The University of Iowa.
Beth met the father of her children, Gary Rohr, in college and they moved to Denver to start their family. Beth was devoted to her younger brother and sister Brad Alger and Wendy Kuhna, and to her friend of 47 years, Sally (Gnadinger) Booras. In addition to being a loving and devoted mother and wife, wonderful sister and aunt, Beth enjoyed tennis, bridge, reading and skiing. Beth was spiritual and generous, involved in many church and volunteer activities and devoted her early adult years to teen crisis intervention for Jefferson County Colorado.
Beth is survived by her three children, Sarah, Jack and Dylan Rohr, her siblings Brad Alger and Wendy (Alger) Kuhna and their spouses Kate and Scott, and her father Bill Alger and his wife Judith. Beth was preceded in death by her mother Bette Alger. Beth is also survived by the father of her children and former spouse, Gary Rohr, her niece and nephews Simon and Nelly Alger and Henry and Charlie Kuhna. Beth was a devoted, life-long friend of Sarah Booras. Beth was adored by her step nephews Jim, Ryan, and Sean Hare, her aunts and uncle, cousins and their families, godchildren and her many friends.
Funeral services are being held at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary Wednesday June 28 at 2pm.
