Born February 28, 1937 to William Bonner Brice II and La Cleta Shoemaker Brice at Mercy Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
Marriages – Shirley Rider 1962, divorced. Trulane (Trudy) Hendershot January 11, 2002.
Education – Graduated from South High School in Denver, Colorado. Studied at Denver University, graduating in 1960 with a BA degree in Business. He was in the Fraternal Group of Alpha Kappa Psi and member of the Beta Chapter.
Bill joined the Naval Reserves while in college. During the Cuban crisis he was in the Atlantic on a carrier.
He ran and worked with the family business, including early Denver restaurants, motels, apartment buildings on Poet’s Row by the State Capital, oil exploration, running a 1,000 mile gas pipeline and real estate.
While at South High School and Denver University, he sang in the schools choirs that did much travel, concerts, and recordings. He belonged to the Scottish Rites Masons, Civil Air Patrol, Shriners, Little Britches and was a licensed instrument rated pilot. He owned 5 different planes - Beech Sport, Tripacer, Barron and two Mooneys.
He lived in Denver, Parker, Roxborough and Aurora.
Bill was strong willed, cultured, multi-gifted, task oriented with a sense of humor.
Trulane (Trudy) was his spouse for 16 years until his death.
