Brad is survived by his wife Sherilyn of 32 years, daughter Lindsey (Josh) Culberson, Mother Etoy, brother Todd Palmer, sisters Gina Gaal and Kim Unruh, granddaughter Palmer and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Brad was welcomed into heaven and was reunited with his son Bryce and Father Ted. Brad was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and a friend to anyone who knew him.
In simple and ordinary ways Brad impacted many people's lives and the communities of which he was a part. For the past 25 years Brad was self-employed and owner of Autoflex Systems where he worked as an Electrical Engineer. He enjoyed working in his shop in the backyard of his Conifer home. Brad was not your stereotypical engineer, he was outgoing and could strike up a conversation with anyone.
Brad spent a large portion of his life devoted to recovery and sobriety. He had a second family at “The Mountain Club” and made an incredible impact on the lives of many during their time together. The family heard countless stories of Brad’s witty sense of humor, ability to inspire while speaking, and unending support for those seeking recovery.
He enjoyed hot tubbing, playing golf, and video poker. He was extremely talented at driving his skid loader and loved the 5$ bucket of movies at WalMart where he discovered several of his favorite movies like, “Last Cab To Darwin”, “The Gods Must Be Crazy” and any old western. If a menu had Chicken Fried steak on it, Brad would order it (extra gravy) with a frosted glass of milk. He enjoyed riding ATVs, dirt bikes, camping and traveling to motocross races across the US.
Brad was baptized in Christ again at Redemption Hills Church. In his final moments, Brad had peace as he led his family in prayer, knowing that he was bound for the kingdom. Brad will be dearly missed in this world and we look forward to our reunion with him in heaven.
Brad's celebration of life services will be held on Saturday December 10th at 1:00 PM at Redemption Hills Church located at 7462 S Everett St. Littleton CO.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.olingerchapelhill.com for the Palmer family.
