Born on January 3, 1993, in Denver, Colorado, Breona was a soul with a curiosity of the world at large. She was baptized as a baby and continued pursuing her faith by attending Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp every summer from elementary school through high school. At the age of 13, she was confirmed at Holy Love Lutheran Church.
As a child, she loved the color pink, dolls, and participated in Girl Scouts. She grew into an incredible artist with an eye to see the beauty and details around her. She graduated from Smoky Hill High School in 2011, where she was a varsity letter cheerleader and first chair cellist. She went on to compete in cheerleading collegiately at Mesa State University in Grand Junction, CO. She continued her education at Colorado State University taking classes in mathematics. Pursuing her love of makeup and creativity, she completed her aesthetician education from the School of Botanical & Medical Aesthetics.
Breona was known for her love for those all around her. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone she crossed paths with, from sticking up for her siblings on the playground, shaving her head to raise money and provide wigs to children with cancer, adopting animals from local shelters, and always leaving generous tips everywhere she went. Everyone will forever remember her boisterous laugh, limitless generosity, and her immense creativity— building detailed Lego sculptures, makeup, excelling at any arts and crafts, difficult puzzles, playing in multiple billiards leagues, and putting together the most creative halloween experiences year after year. She loved exploring the world, from the cliffs of ireland, to the beaches and collecting shells in Tampa.
She is survived by her parents Cindy Weist & Feril Hoffer, sisters Alani Bidwell and Charissa Hoffer, Brother In Laws David Bidwell III and Josh Woods, her nephew David Bidwell IV, as well as her two loving sons (dogs) Ryder and Westley Hoffer.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025, between 4 and 7 PM at The Varsity Inn (7500 S University Blvd Centennial, CO). Per her wishes, everyone attending is requested to show up in their best Halloween costumes!
The family wishes to thank everyone who has reached out with support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Tampa Zoo (Donate to ZooTampa) or Humans Colorado (Donate to Humane Colorado).
