Catherine was born on November 9, 1933 in Manhattan, NY. She was one of eight children in the Waldron family.
She married Patrick Murray and they had 5 daughters and 1 son together. At the young age of 39, the Murray family moved to Colorado in 1972. It was a life change from the hustle and bustle of the city to quiet suburbia living. They soon found and joined the Irish Fellowship Club of Denver and Patrick eventually became the president for several years.
When the children attended school, she was a school crossing guard which she enjoyed immensely. She also worked for Johns Manville full-time as a switchboard operator until retirement and then continued part-time until she was 75 years old.
In 1989, Patrick was called home to the Lord leaving behind his beloved wife, Catherine, 6 children and their spouses and 9 grandchildren.
Her family continued to grow with both additions of grandchildren and a new husband, John Casey. They were together for 20 years before his passing.
Catherine and John were frequent fliers in Black Hawk but her true love of life was food and children.
Catherine's legacy will live on thru 45 family members: her 6 children, 12 grandchildren, 1 daughter-in-law, 4 son-in-laws, and 15 great grandchildren.
She felt so blessed to live in Colorado surrounded by all of her family.
