"Chuck" and I commenced at Holden in the same week. It was my first job out of University, and I remember him very fondly as a caring, friendly and very approachable leader. He provided me with opportunities to grow as an employee and as a person, and I will be forever grateful. RIP.

The Holden Retirees Club has 650 members, most of whom worked at Holden during the time Chuck was MD.
Chuck is still remembered as one of the very best MDs Holden has had, both professionally and as a person.
He richly deserved the ultimate Australian accolade "He was good bloke!".
Our sincere condolences go to his wife and family.

May I say, on behalf of the many Australians Chuck inspired in his 11 plus years here, how sad we were to hear of his passing.
He held the reigns during the most difficult period and was most influential in helping to provide a future for Holden.

His family can to be proud of his achievements.

Our kindest regards.

Chuck was a great role model-he was a good husband, father, and grandfather. We will miss his humor, kindness, and patient endurance. He was definitely a man of high moral caliber. May he walk among the angels on high.
