He attended East High School and the University of Denver where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. His career was an auditor with the General Accounting Office where he traveled extensively across the U.S. and abroad including Germany and Korea. He retired after 30 plus years.
After retirement, Charles married his long time love Shirley Anne Johnson on June 18, 1994. He was very active in the Church and served on a number of committees. Charles was a dedicated volunteer. He always had a tool ready to assist wherever there was a need.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jim, and several extended family members.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Anne; sister Linda (Larry); sisters-in-law Beverly and Heather; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and cousins.
He will be remembered for his love of cars and anything number related as well as his quiet generosity, kindness, humor, and unwavering support.
