Christine Myroslawa Grausam (nee. Szewczyk) passed away May 5th, 2025, at the age of 82. A longtime resident of Centennial, CO, she is survived by her husband, Allen Grausam, two sons Edward and James Grausam, and their families. Chris was born in Krosno, Poland in 1943 and immigrated to the United States when she was 6 years old. She grew up in Carteret, NJ where she graduated from St. Mary’s High School and attended technical college in medical sciences. After marriage, the Grausams relocated to Littleton, CO in 1969. Chris had many jobs including day-care provider, customer service operator at Sears, Diner’s Club, and CitiBank, salesperson at Sears Southglen, as well as in-home support for both seniors and young children. She often said, “retirement doesn’t suit me”. Chris was a devoted mother, wife, and friend. She was a faithful parishioner at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church. She was a dedicated homemaker, gardener, and seasonal décor specialist. She will be missed by all who knew her.
