

Clariene Denette Jones entered eternal rest on September 17th 2021 at the age of 93 years old. She went peacefully with family by her side in her Englewood home which her husband Raymond Jones remodeled for their family in 1967. Clariene was born July 17th 1928 in Denver Colorado and grew up to attend West High School where she participated in pep club and received recognition for exceptional clerical shorthand. She moved on to work as a secretary at Canteen Vending and maintained business records for CC Olin Construction, Denver Cottages and Supreme Firewood.
Clariene actively supported the WWII troops with efforts such as selling war bonds, and met her soulmate, Raymond L Jones before he went off to war. The two rejoined and married in 1947, then ventured together into starting their own successful business, Bee Jay Iron Inc., traveling with friends, raising a beautiful loving family and sharing their lives together.
Clariene is survived by and will be deeply missed by her son and daughter in-law Stan & Brenda Jones, her daughter and son-law Jann & Chris Gunn, grandchildren Angela Fletcher, Shawn Jones, Christopher Gunn, Nikolas Gunn, Jonathan Gunn and Molly Jones, as well as six great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Clariene is preceded in death by her devoted husband Raymond L. Jones, her parents Clarence “Shorty” Olin and Francis Olin, siblings Frances, Marie, Nadene, Whitman & Lawrence “Joe”, as well as her first child Stephen Jones and daughter in law Cora Jones, along with her loving grandchildren Jennifer Jarvis, Marshall Jones and great grandson Dustin Fletcher.
The viewing will be held Tuesday October 12th at Olinger Chapel Hill 6601 S Colorado Blvd. Centennial, CO from 10am -12pm. The celebration of life will follow the same day at Chapel Hill at 12pm, then continue to Fort Logan National Cemetery at 2pm where Clairene will be laid to rest.
