Our sweet Damon passed away unexpectedly on the morning of Tuesday, November 28th, 2023.
He was born in Lincoln, NE where he spent the first 8 years of his life and was the youngest of 3 brothers, also known as the 3D Brothers. He was later joined by his two younger sisters who he adored.
Damon loved playing outdoors, riding bikes, jumping on the trampoline, exploring, and getting into mischief. He had an extremely imaginative mind and a skill for writing which blossomed through his entire life. Damon was a person of strong faith and his belief in God and Jesus provided him with ongoing guidance, strength, and comfort.
In 2006 Damon moved with his family to Colorado where he grew up with all of his aunts, uncles, and cousins. The bond he created with everyone was unique and special, he always loved to be with his family and brought joy and laughter to everyone. He graduated from Overland High School in 2015.
As an adult, he worked multiple jobs such as a Teacher’s Assistant at an Elementary School that his younger sister and cousins attended, a bank teller for the company where his uncle also worked, and in construction in his older cousin’s business.
His interests in animes and video games began in his teenage years and inspired him to begin his project. This led to many self-taught skills such as building his own PC and learning how to program, animate, and illustrate.
Damon’s passion and energy remained focused on creating his own animation project titled "Magnet". "Magnet" is a reflection of the positives and negatives of the world, and how the two collide. It was Damon’s dream to share his work, and our family is committed to bringing his vision to completion and sharing it with the world in his honor.
