Donald's parents were Carlo Natale and Maria Albano Natale, both immigrants of a young age when they arrived with their parents from the Provence of Caserta, Italy.
Don spent his adolescent years attending schools in Barrington and graduated high school in June 1944. World War II was in progress and Don enlisted in the Army Air Corps while still attending high school. After graduation he went on to active duty. Don spent one year on the Island of Shemya, a small airfield at the end of the Aleutian Island Chain.
Immediately after discharge in November 1946, Don married his high school sweetheart, Eunice Althea Webb of Riverside, R.l. They lived a happily married life of 51 years until Eunice's passing in November 1997.
After graduation from Bryant College in 1951, Don wanted to fulfill his desire to move to Colorado. He was stationed at Lowry Air Force Base, close to Denver, Colorado and fell in love with the mountains and the west. The family moved to Denver and New Mexico in 1953. Donald had a successful career with B.F. Goodrich Company until 1970. Don and Eunice created their own successful tire distributing company in Denver until 1989 when they sold the business and retired. They enjoyed many years of retirement and travel.
Donald leaves his family of two sons, Donald, Jr. and wife Barbara and David and wife Kathy. In addition he has six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
