

Donna Irene (Baer) Angell was born in Denver, Colorado on the 10th day of December 1951 to Elvin W. Baer and Mildred M. Lee. She attended Godsman Elementary, Rishel Jr. High, and Denver South High School. Donna is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Tom G. Angell; two brothers: Elvin D. Baer, and William K. Roderick; sister Diane Rippie; and step sister Christy Roderick. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Sue Mick and Paulie Rainbow; and her four nieces: Sarah E. Smith, Elizabeth G. Kilday, Steffani Rink, and Sheli Engclby. She is additionally survived by her uncle and aunt Jimmy and Paula Baer along with many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by step brother Greg Roderick.
Donna’s working career started at the old Evans drive-in theater until her marriage to Tom in 1970. She then went to work in retail but spent the majority of her career in banking. She and Tom have resided all of their lives in Colorado; first in Denver, then Green Mountain, Ken Caryl, and finally Englewood.
Her hobbies and passions included a profound love of the ocean and sea-life, with whales and dolphins topping the list. She and Tom enjoyed traveling to picturesque lighthouse locations. She has had a life-long relationship with her beloved cats. Everyone was delighted to receive one of her impressive, handcrafted, unique cards on any occasion.
Donna’s quick wit and humor was a contagious source of laughter. She was loved and respected by everyone that knew her and she will be dearly missed by all.
A visitation for Donna will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121. A memorial service will occur Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery.
