She married James Thomas Whalen September 24, 1955 and together raised their three daughters in Lakewood Colorado.
Throughout her life, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved attending her bible study classes and church activities.
Spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her an abundance of joy.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Janet and son-in-law William.
She is survived by her loving husband James, her daughters Renee, Lori (Carl), her grandchildren Sarah (Jason), Matthew (Heather), Christopher, David, Amanda (Ross), Andrew (Leslie) and Paul (Olivia), and 8 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at Encounter Church on Saturday March 12th at 10:30am, 6825 S. Galena St. Suite 302 Centennial, CO 80112. Burial will take place at Olinger Chapel Hill Cemetery on Monday March 14th at 11 am.
