I always enjoyed the times I was around Doyle! He had a great sense of humor and wisdom! He was a rock of the Denver Divison.

I will always remember our fun filled fishing travels through Wyoming and how grandpa always called  me "Scotchy" since I was a little boy ...his stories of Ashton, ID N the "Henry's Fork" ... he was smart ... kind ... fun! I was very lucky to be old enough to spend soo much quality time with my grandpa and appreciate getting to know him.

We knew Doyle and BJ only through reunions of  NARPI.  We always enjoyed our association with them.Our sincere condolences to BJ and the family.

Retired SF Division IinC  J. K. ( Jerry) Jones summed up the honor of knowing Doyle and working with him very accurately.  May Doyle rest in peace and may BJ and the family reflect upon  their many, many fond memories of him and God Bless them all.

I met Doyle in Phoenix AZ in July of 1962.  I was a new student Inspector.  His kindess to me and his friendship throughout the years has always been treasured.  Rest well my friend.

I first met Doyle in 1958 in Pueblo. CO. He was a Postal Inspector there and I was a lowly "sub-clerk".  He "scared" me to death!

Time went on and I found him not to be so bad after all! He actually became a "silent" mentor and helped me become an Inspector.

I later worked with and continued to learn from Doyle often around the Western Region.  

I have a lot of great memories of his exceptional fraud work, his sense of humor and of his friendship.

Doyle and BJ visited us often in AZ after we both retired.  We always looked forward to their visits and sharing "tall tales" of our careers.

Our thoughts and prayers are with BJ and family. We know he is now at peace.

To the Family:  I had the pleasure of knowing Doyle Marshall in the late 1970's and early 1980's when I was the Chief Appellate Deputy and Doyle was a Senior Investigator at the Denver District Attorneys Office.  He was always pleasant, friendly, and an amazingly able investigator and detective.  I used to tell him that he was modern Sherlock Holmes. We were neighbors of BJ and Doyle for over 12 years and appreciated their friendship.  Our grandchildren also enjoyed visiting with BJ and Doyle on their back porch.  Our sincere sympathy to BJ and family.
