Elaine Raye Williams

Elaine Raye Williams, age 75, formerly of Highlands Ranch, CO, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025 with her loving family by her side. Elaine was born on February 7, 1950 in Modesto, CA, to parents Raymond and Arda Openshaw. Following high school, her career as a business professional included several years with a local telephone company, a nonprofit organization focused on teaching independent living skills to developmentally disabled adults, and an engineering firm. In 1974, Elaine married Richard Williams and the two of them were blessed with four beautiful children - two sons and two daughters.

Elaine was an avid reader, an HGTV aficionado, and someone who valued the simple pleasures in life. But it was her dedication to family that motivated her to be her best. Elaine’s sweet spirit and kind heart were unmistakable, and her love was endless.

Elaine is survived by her four children: Layne, Jennifer, Tiffany, and Jeffrey; her five grandchildren: Parker, Kenton, Chase, Quinn, and Isabelle; daughters-in-law Stephany and Katie; sisters: Vonnie, Margaret, and Gayle; brother, Darrell; and many other wonderful nephews, nieces, cousins and close friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and former husband, Richard Williams.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Elaine’s memory be made to charitable organizations highly regarded by individual donors.
