

In 1913, she came to Englewood, Colorado with her parents and resided with them at the family home until her marriage in 1937. Her husband, Warren F. Fauver preceded her in death in 1957. In 1961, Mrs. Fauver returned to live in the 3986 South Lincoln Street family home, which has been continuously been a member of the Duhrsen family since 1913.
Mrs. Fauver attended Hawthorne and Lowell Schools and graduated Englewood High School in 1927. She attended Colorado State Teachers College in Greeley and taught school in Arapahoe and Douglas counties for six years. She also worked at the Arms Plant in Jefferson County during World War II for four years.
Mrs. Fauver retired from American Telephone and Telegraph in 1973 after 30 years of service. She was active in the Life Member Club of the Telephone Pioneers. She was also a Past Matron of the Englewood Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was an avid bowler and equestrian and loved the out-of-doors.
Mrs. Fauver is survived by a niece, Mrs. Roylynne Miercort of Reno, Nevada and is preceded in death by a nephew Dr. Lowell R. Duhrsen II of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Her combined great and grand nieces and nephews are 12 in number.
Funeral services will be held cryptside at Fairmount Cemetery in Denver on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 1:00PM.
