Evangeline Connie Marston

Evangeline C. (Vangie) Marston 98, of Denver Colorado died peacefully at home June 17, 2026. She was born on November 28, 1927, in Manassa Colorado to parents Carlos and Mary (Romero) Gallardo. In her late teens, she moved to Denver, Colorado, and there met her future husband of 61 years, Harold E. Marston. The young couple lived in various locations including Auburn, Maine and later Walsenburg Colorado where she gave birth to their first child, Rosemary. A few years later, after moving to Denver, she gave birth to their son, Barry. Evangeline served an LDS church mission in the Genealogical Research Facility at LDS church headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah. Genealogical work became a passion for the remainder of her life.

She is survived by her siblings, Teresa Maestas, and Everly Gallardo; her son,

Barry (Susan Keough), granddaughters; Jessica Marston Hansen (Dave),

Ashley Marston Stoner (Jeremy) and Emily Marston (J.M. Husby); great-grandchildren

Wyatt Hansen, Whitney Hansen and Aksel Husby, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the hospice Care individuals who assisted in her care during her final days.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Friday, July 10, 2026 at the Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (1951 Elmwood Lane, Westminster, Colorado). Interment Service will follow at the Chapel Hill Cemetery in Centennial (6601 S Colorado Boulevard, Centennial, Colorado).
