Frank was one of my favorite people.  I appreciated his kindness to my family through the years.  My son, Josh, loved to check in on Frank and Lorraine.  He was an inspiration about how life should be lived- He was adventurous to face these mountain winters.  He built my home and dug my well- long before I got here.  I love this little house.  Frank was also very supportive of our work at the Indian Park Schoolhouse, and his enthusiasm gave me great mortivation to keep on task.  I will always remember him with great affection.

With each new day there is a sunrise--a gift from God.  Know that when Jesus took Uncle Frank in His hands and cupped his chin, He said to Uncle Frank, "Welcome Home."  May He heal your sadness over the death of your Dad.

Mr. Frank Jackson was an icon of our community. His simple cabin lifestyle was an example we all respected and admired. We have been his neighbor for seventeen years and his warm mentorship will always be cherished and passed down to others as much as we can. My personal best memories are the simple smiling moments such as asking to borrow a cordless drill while doing a home repair. He came out of his garage with a crank handle brace and bit, saying “how’s this for cordless”. It did the job just fine. He showed us that true success and happiness is achieved by having a place to call home and good friends and family to share it with. He always made time to visit with anyone that stopped at his porch and he always called us to let us know if someone was seen on our property. He cared for the forest, the animals, and the neighbors with equal love and honesty. 
We already miss him.

Frank and Lorraine were the first neighbors we met when we moved to Sprucewood 33 years ago.  What great neighbors they were.  Frank helped me build our log home and taught me so much about living in the mountains.  I'll never forget sitting around and telling stories and laughing with Frank.  Men like him are few and far between.  We love you Frank and you will never be forgotten in our family.  Our prayers are with you all. Love, Dennis and Sylvia DeVries

I send my thoughts and prayers to all the members of the Jackson family. I grew up next door to the Jacksons.  Linda and I played together most every day, going toschool together, closer than sisters in many ways.  Frank and Lorraine were like second parents.  My memories of Frank are very long.  I'd follow him up the canyon in the winter as he plowed the snow in front of him so we could get home.  When Frank wasn't working, he was working at home, always fixing things, cutting wood, planting and working in his garden.  He was a good father to his children, and a good husband to Lorraine.  May he rest in peace.

Our condolences to the family.  Visiting Frank and Lorraine with their Grandpa Cochise are one of my children's earliest, and fondest, memories.  There will always be a special place in our hearts for him.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
