Gerald Lee Gregory

Jerry is preceded in death by his wife Barbara Gregory (nee Schwaninger) and is survived by 6 children; James Russell Gregory and wife Kim, Kimberly Hritz (nee Gregory) and Robert Hritz, Michael Gregory and wife Michelle, Stanley Gregory and wife Teresa, Paula Gregory, and Nichole Barnes (nee Gregory). He has 11 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren.

Jerry was the youngest of six children born in East St. Louis, IL to Stanley Alexander Gregory and Zelma Clara Rhymer.

Jerry joined the US Marine Corp at 17 and honorably served his country. He worked countless jobs to provide for his family and retired after more than 30 years working for railroads including the ICG and Gateway Western. His life was a testament to hard work and service through many pursuits and endeavors, including acquisition of his pilot's license, establishing and contributing to family businesses, church service, and dedication to grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's sports and activities.

Jerry always enjoyed hunting and fishing with many friends and family members throughout his life. He was happiest when helping the ones he loved. He will be remembered for his determination and the deep love he had for his family.
