Gilbert E. Mulley, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and decorated veteran, passed away on October 17, 2025, in Colorado at the age of 80.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Martha, and his brother, Earl.
An award-winning author, editor, and retired director of communications for professional corporations, trade journals, and academia, he leaves behind a legacy of clarity, insight, and integrity.
Gilbert proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He held a degree in journalism from Louisiana State University and earned his MBA in finance from Regis University in Denver.
A lifelong learner and world traveler, Gilbert approached life with curiosity and generosity. He was deeply devoted to his family and is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne; son, Brad; daughter, Heather; sisters, JoAlice Canterbury and Sylvia Bryant; three cherished grandchildren, Madison, Luka, and Gaia; as well as six nieces and nephews.
His presence, wisdom, and humor will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
