Glen Owen Stocking III

Glen was born June 19,1965 to Glen O. Stocking Jr. and Haven Paulette Stocking in Wheatridge, Colorado. Glen attended Jefferson County schools, graduating from Pomona High School in 1983. Glen studied Psychology at Colorado State University and went on to receive his Juris Doctor at Northwestern California University School of Law.

Glen married Chenoa Dietrich in 1990 and had one daughter, Aimee Haven Stocking (Brown) in 1991. Aimee was the pride and joy of Glen’s life, along with his son in law Ross, and grandchildren Mali and Roland.

Glen worked in the Clinical Research industry for 30 years, having contributed to pharmaceutical drug development in the areas of Cardiology, Neurology, Infectious Disease, and (primarily) Oncology. Glen spent the last 18 years working at GlaxoSmithKline before joining Labcorp in 2020.

As a native of Colorado, Glen enjoyed all things outdoors including camping, fishing, hiking and spending time with his family and friends. Glen’s favorite place was the Flattop Wilderness Area near Yampa, Colorado.

Glen is survived by his daughter Aimee, son in law Ross, grandchildren Mali and Roland, parents Glen and Marsha, brothers Paul (wife Keely) and Lane (wife Sarah). He is also survived by his five nephews Liam, Jake, Charlie, Gabe and Owen.

Glen was preceded in death by his mother Haven Stocking and grandparents Jake and Pauline Ginther and Glen and Evelyn Stocking.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to the American Heart Association and/or Front Range German Shepherd Rescue.

A celebration of life for Glen will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121, followed by a reception from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
