Glenn "Rick" Williamson

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Glenn Richard Williamson 'Rick' (74) who passed away unexpectedly June 25, 2024. Current residence in Parker, Colorado, Rick was born in Cleveland, Ohio March 22,1950.

He graduated from Berea High School in 1968 in Berea, Ohio. Rick went on to play baseball and earn his bachelor's degree at Cleveland State University. He married in 1971 to Mary Joan Williamson and had two daughters (Melissa and Meredith). Rick had a successful 42 year career with Boy Scouts of America, serving in many leadership roles inspiring others throughout the United States. In retirement, Rick served on the school board, volunteered in the community, coached several youth football teams, and continued to serve BSA. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, cheering on his grandkids' activities, and golfing with friends. A lifelong Browns and Ohio State fan, Rick was an unwavering child of God who loved his Lord and others deeply.

Rick will be cherished and missed by his wife Mary Jo, daughter Melissa and son-in-law Brad, daughter Meredith and son-in-law Derek, seven grandchildren; Danielle (John), Helen, Wyatt, Bryce, Cole, Libby, and Edie, four great grandchildren; Kensington, Coltan, Addison, and Mazie, sister Sandra (Terry) and brother James (Theresa). Rick was proceeded in death by his mother Marion and father James.

Celebration of life service will take place at 1pm on July 16th at Crossroads Community Church in Parker, Colorado.
