Gloria Hong Soon Hahn

Gloria was born in South Korea, one of four children. She emigrated to the US in 1961, settling in Denver, CO. Soon after graduating from the University of Colorado with a degree in nursing, she met her husband, George. She had a great interest in the arts and was an accomplished painter, sewer, and quilt-maker. This led her to pursue a degree in the arts at Metropolitan State college where she obtained a BA degree in 1978. As a devout Seventh Day Adventist, she served as a deaconess for most of her life and sang in the choir. She loved being outdoors in the mountains of Colorado and having picnics by the streams.

Preceded in death by her brothers Charles and Arvin, she is survived by her husband George, son Dr. Stephen Hahn (daughter-in-law Kahee), daughter Florence (son-in-law Dr. Kami Jow), grandsons Dr. Christian Hahn, Max, Wes, granddaughters Sesley and Elle, three great grandchildren, and sister Nancy.

Her family is grateful to the members of the Denver Korean SDA church for their gracious and loving support. Until the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, we anxiously await the reunion with Gloria Hahn.
