Gloria Jean Medina

Gloria Jean Medina, a lifelong resident of Englewood, Colorado, and a constant presence of light and laughter, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, at the age of 74. She leaves behind a legacy defined by her unwavering faith, boundless generosity, and an infectious spirit that brought joy to all who knew her.

Gloria approached life with an all-or-nothing enthusiasm, ensuring every day was lived to its absolute fullest. Her personality was an unforgettable blend of humility, wonderful goofiness, fearlessness, and incredible inner strength.

Guided deeply by her faith, Gloria was known for her exceptional kindness and an innate ability to believe the best in people. This deep compassion manifested in a life of service; she was the person who would drop everything and do anything for someone in need, consistently stepping up to help a friend, neighbor, or stranger.

Gloria was the loving, unifying force who anchored her family. As a loving daughter, sister, Auntie, Great Auntie, Great-Great Auntie, cousin, and friend, her central presence was the steadfast foundation of their lives.

Family

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Jose S. Medina and Helen E. Medina, and her nephews, Joseph Medina and Arja Medina.

She is survived by her siblings: Sam Medina, Peggy Medina, Glen Medina, Nancy Medina, Rose DeVore, Frank Medina, and Alison Medina. She also leaves behind an enormous network of extended family, including her many nieces and nephews, who are committed to carrying on her beautiful tradition of joy and kindness. She will be deeply missed by her countless loved ones, who cherished her unique and vibrant spirit.
