Grace Ann Farmer

Her residence for the last 13 years was in Howard, CO. Hummingbirds feeding were her favorite thing to watch outside her kitchen window in her home nestled in the majestic mountains surrounding her in Howard, CO.

Grace grew up in Hilltop, a country farming community south of Parker, CO and before Franktown.

She was the first of two daughters (younger sister- Juanita) born to Anthony and Myrtle Rothschopf.

Her father was a dairy farmer. Grace graduated from High School and moved to the city where she attended business college for two years.

She later married Cleveland Farmer and gave birth to three boys.

Due to extenuating circumstances, Grace raised the three boys on her own and never remarried.

Grace was always a sterling example of a devoted Mother and was loved by all her friends and family.

She worked hard, holding and maintaining a home and raising three boys. She was a role model to everyone who knew her.

Grace received the Lord Jesus Christ in her mid forties and later in life enjoyed a cruise to Israel with her eldest son, Rex.

She loved gardening and working crossword puzzles.

Her greatest accomplishments were being an amazing mother “Amazing Grace” and being an extremely generous friend to so many. She kept in touch with everyone in her working and social life.

Grace is the mother of Rex, Keith and Rodney Farmer. She had many, many close and best friends, too many to count, all her life.

Her sister Juanita and her husband, Gene Curtis, have 2 children Toni Ann and Doug Curtis.

She also has 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

A funeral service for Grace will be held Friday, June 10, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121, followed by a graveside service from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
