Born on May 4, 1995, Hogan lived a life defined by adventure, brilliance, laughter, and deep human connection. In his 30 years, he experienced more boldly and loved more openly than many do in a lifetime.
Hogan was fiercely adventurous and drawn to the thrill of life. He found joy in adrenaline-seeking pursuits like downhill skateboarding, cliff diving, and skydiving — always pushing limits and embracing the rush of the moment. He carried that same fearless spirit into the way he lived, choosing experience over comfort and growth over fear. He was very into being fit and working out to build his physique and feel good.
He had a deep love for travel and for learning through immersion in other cultures. Exploring new countries, meeting people from different walks of life, and expanding his understanding of the world energized him. Hogan was incredibly intelligent, endlessly curious, and thoughtful in his perspectives. Conversations with him were meaningful — he challenged you to think — and he made you laugh until your sides hurt.
And he truly did make everyone laugh. Hogan was hilarious, quick-witted, and effortlessly funny. He had a way of delivering the perfect comment at the perfect moment, lighting up every room he entered. His energy was magnetic and unforgettable.
Entrepreneurial at heart, Hogan built a business alongside his brother Joshua — a venture that reflected his drive, creativity, and belief in building something to support the life he wanted to live. He approached life with vision and courage, never afraid to pursue big ideas.
Perhaps what people will remember most is how Hogan made them feel. He loved meeting new people and had a rare gift for making others feel seen, valued, and important. Whether you had known him for years or had just met him, he welcomed you fully and authentically.
Hogan is survived by his loving mother, Dawn Abbott; his step-father, Darren Davis; his siblings, Emmerson Abbott-Davis and Joshua Abbott; as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends who will forever carry his light in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Abbott, who passed away in 2013.
Though our hearts are broken beyond words, we are profoundly grateful for the 30 remarkable years we were blessed to share with him. His spirit of adventure, his laughter, his brilliance, and his radiant presence will continue to live on in all who knew and loved him.
