
Howard Grant Brown, long time resident of Denver, passed away April 24, 2017 at the age of 91. Howard is survived by his son, Warren (Gail) and two grandchildren. Howard was preceded in death by his parents Grant Brown and Effie Bates Brown; his sister Margaret Weaver (Burt) and the 58 year love of his life, Patsy Hummel Brown.
Howard was born April 10, 1926 and raised in Omaha, NE. He moved to Denver with Pat in 1949. He was a WWII veteran, a member of the Army Rainbow Division, which was active in the European Theater. Howard was a Pressman for Hirschfield Press and retired after 40 years of service providing the way and future for his family. Howard loved the Colorado Mountains as he and Pat spent many days and nights enjoying them together and with family and friends.
Howard was loved by many and reflected his love to many at work, clubs and church. The family wishes to thank Brookdale Park Place, Denver Health, and The Denver Hospice for their loving care, along with family and friends who visited near the end of his full life.
Those who wish to make memorial donations may do so to The Denver Hospice, The Denver Brass, The First Church of Christ Scientist Denver, or the charity of your choice.
