Her Father bought a pump organ, accordion, and piano which she learned to play by ear when she was around five years old. She traveled with a musical group to nursing homes and was also in a band for a short while. She consistently joined church choirs throughout her life and was an active church member from an early age.
Ina attended grade school in Eaton, graduating from High School in 1956. She then attended Barnes Business College and graduated with a Secretarial Certificate in 1957. Her career accomplishment was becoming a top-notch Administrative Secretary to the president of Lerch Bates and Associates, a prominent elevator system design firm, where she proudly honed her computer skills. Her company especially appreciated her typing talent: 95+ words per minute with 3 or fewer errors.
Ina’s proudest moments were when she had her children, leading to her greatest accomplishments: taking care of her children, grand-children, and “framily,” providing for and loving all. She was a de-voted mother and caregiver possessing a zest for family.
Ina’s favorite music included classical music, classical guitar, and beautiful choirs like Celtic Women. Many Saturday afternoons were spent listening to Brasil ‘66, Sonny & Cher, and Herb Alpert. She loved to hear her grandsons play the piano, various stringed instru-ments, and drums, and her granddaughter play harp.
Ina’s hobbies were sewing, quilting, cooking, baking (especially wedding cakes), gardening, music, reading, a little golf, and spend-ing time with her very large family.
Ina is survived by her children, Krystal Harms, Michael Vigil, and Kerri Ellerbrock; and her stepchildren Jolie Springer, Jill Stokan, and Rick Vigil; her grandchildren, Ethan and Kole Harms, Jason and Kyle Vigil, Karisa Ellerbrock; step grandchildren Micah and Desireé Springer, Jack and Jesse Stokan, Ashley Boland and Ben Beicarck; and step great grandchildren Finnley and Thatcher Boland, and Satya Springer; sister Marlene Murray, and brother Jerry Lind. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard and son, David; brothers Albert Lind and Art Lind, and sister Luella Foss; and her parents.
