She was born August 10, 1951 in Denver, firstborn daughter of the late Clyde and Nema “Joyce” Webb.
Duvette is survived by her loving and loyal partner of 24 years, Alan Templeton, his daughter, Alicia Templeton (Kevin), a son, Jason Huner (Amanda), a daughter, Jena DaRosa (Nick), grandchildren Brynn, Bailey, Tyler, Ethan, and Jennings, sisters Jeanette Congrove (Jim) and Lisa Webb Berry (Dave), brother Keith Webb (Lynda, deceased). She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Duvette was a strong, positive, optimistic, fun-loving, bossy, stubborn, fearless (climbing trees, rappelling down cliffs, hot air ballooning, skydiving) woman making plans up until the end. She absolutely loved life and got so excited about the smallest things like decorating her yard for Halloween. She had a childlike joy that she shared with her grandchildren and everyone else. Duvette never met a stranger and was a good friend, making a difference in so many people’s lives. The delight of her later years was her Goldendoodle puppy, Harley, who gave her unconditional love.
As she requested, Duvette’s ashes will be set free in the Colorado mountains she loved so much. We will be having a celebration of life for her family and friends in Texas at a later date.
Donations to honor Duvette’s memory can be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association.
