Jack Hayes was born in Indianapolis, IN to Andrew J. (Jack) and Catherine Royster Hayes. Jack grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from North Central High School in 1965. After high school, he served in the US Air Force for eight years. Following military service, Jack attended and graduated from Purdue University. Jack and Amy were married in 1978 and he worked at Public Service Indiana/Duke Energy many years as a computer analyst. Jack and Amy moved from Indiana to Colorado in 2020.
Jack passed away in Amstetten Austria after a short illness that occurred during a European river cruise trip. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Austin, Jean, and C.R. Jack is survived by his wife, Amy Hayes, daughter Laura Sanchez, and grandson Diego Sanchez, all of Centennial, Colorado and several nieces and nephews.
