Demetrios “James” Nickolas Athanasiou, born June 28, 1928, passed to Our Lord September 20, 2023. Preceded by his wife, Dionysia “Denise” Athanasiou, he is survived by his children, Nicholas Athanasiou and Stella “Lina” Athanasiou, son-in-law George Papachristu, daughter -in-law Joy Athanasiou, grandsons Demetri, Georgio and Costa Athanasiou, brother and sister-in-law Dr. Vaios and Magdalini Athanasiou, his many Godchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. His love for his family and his impact on the community were immense.
He will be sorely missed.
