

James W. Condon, 94, went to be with his Savior on August 30, 2015. He was born November 11, 1920. Jim graduated from South High School in 1939 and enlisted in the Navy in 1942. He served as Signalman First Class in the Aleutian Islands during WWII for his tour of duty. Upon return he married Edith Marie Krause and they had three children. He retired from the VA as an accountant and as a reservist with the Navy. He also faithfully served as an elder at South Broadway Christian Church where he'd attended since childhood.
Jim is survived by his wife, Edith, preceded in death by his mother, Edith, his sister, Ethel Cockrell and infant Daughter, Colleen, and survived by son, Randy and his wife Judy, and four grandchildren, Amanda, James II, Nathaniel and Jennifer of Littleton; daughter, Janice Fields and her husband Jay, and three grandchildren, Derek Walker, Angela Walker, and Amy Nailling of Texas; and Daughter Gloria Cole and one grandchild Jonathan of North Carolina. He is also survived by twin great-grandsons, Legend Nailling and Cross Nailling of Texas.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 4, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary. 6601 South Colorado Blvd., Centennial, CO 80121.
