Jane Lucille Beard

Jane Lucille (Walker) Beard, 93, of Aurora died Tuesday June 11, 2024. She was born to the late Hazel Miller Walker and Charles Walker December 5, 1930 in Creede, Colorado. After high school graduation, she moved to Denver to go to business school. She married A. Glenn Beard January 31, 1953 and they lived in the house on south Jamaica street for over 58 years. She worked for a media distribution company, secretary for a church and retired from the Association of Operating Room Nurses in 1995.

She is preceded in death by her parents Hazel Miller Walker and Charles Walker, husband A. Glenn Beard, brothers Charles Walker, Neil Walker (Thelma Walker) and sisters, Hazel Keeton, and Daisy Walker.

Jane is survived by her daughter Glenna Bryant and son Michael Beard (Brenda). Grandchildren Laura Bryant, Crystal Garcia (Anthony) and Michael Bryant and great grandchild Anthony Garcia II.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society at www.nationalmssociety.org or Dumb Friends League at www.ddfl.org

Jane’s wishes were to not have a service, therefore, no services will be held.

She will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Cemetery located at 6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121.
