Janet was born to the late James and Agnes Zwiers on April 22, 1933, in St. Paul, Minnesota. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis, MN after which she married her high school sweetheart, George Eide in 1952. Together they lived in Minneapolis until 1972 when they moved to Colorado.
Janet is survived by her three children James, Elizabeth and Kathryn. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Janet was predeceased by her loving husband George in 2025.
Janet was an accomplished florist and had her own drapery business. She loved skiing with her friends on the Eskimo Ski Club and enjoyed the weekly bus rides to the slopes of Colorado.
Janet was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.
A funeral service will be held at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, located at 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO, 80121, on January 16, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
A committal service will follow at the same location on January 16, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
