Jeanne achieved her BSN from the University of Iowa, beginning her career as an RN, before continuing her education and obtaining a Masters Degree from Johns Hopkins University later becoming a Healthcare Administrator and Consultant. She served on the Colorado State Board of Health in various roles including President.
A truly compassionate, caring, and selfless person, Jeanne always put the needs of others before herself. She was an exceptional wife, mother, and friend. Jeanne enjoyed skiing, golfing, bicycling, the beach, and traveling. She was always happy and smiling and will be truly missed by all that had the honor of knowing her.
Jeanne is survived by her husband of 37 years, Michael McGinnis; her children, Myles McGinnis and Megan (Liliana) McGinnis; her father, Richard Hagele; and many other family members and friends.
A private Celebration of Jeanne's Life will be held prior to the scattering of her remains at Olinger Mt. Lindo Cemetery, Morrison, Colorado.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jeanne's honor to the University of Colorado- Breast Cancer Research or There With Care.
