Jeffrey David Gathright

He was a 1973 graduate of Youngstown High School and went on to play as a standout wide receiver at Ohio Northern University. He later left football to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a pilot. Jeffery was hired by UPS in 1988 and retired in 2018 as a Captain.

Jeffery is survived by his stepson, Carlo Kellem of Louisville, Kentucky, his cousin Tulani Gathright, his grandchildren, and many close friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Caroline Gathright, his brother Bill Gathright, and his parents, William and Odessa Gathright.

A private ceremony will be held Tuesday, July 14th at 12:30 PM at Mt. Lindo Cemetery in Colorado.

Jeffery’s legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the skies he conquered, and the love he shared so generously.
