Dearest Mom...
I am at the condo remembering all the wonderful times and talks we had.  Time goes so fast, so many things I still want u to share with me. How easy it is to take time for granted!!  The minutes with u and Dad were so precious. You will be so happy that the bumper finally fell off your car and is  now an awesome decoration in the guest room!  Soon your "94" years will be here and you will spend them with Jesus!!  The BIGGEST celebration of all!!!  I Love You Mom....????????????????????????

Here are pictures of the temple on a mountain near Beijing where you are scattered.  Notice you are under a stone turtle and the 2 trees are over 1000 years old.  The Great Wall is your next destination.

Hi Mom!  Your ashes are also scattered on a mountain west  of Beijing China.  I took a hike to a temple with 2, 1000 year old trees in the courtyard.  Your ashes are under the stone turtle.  I'm still planning on scattering you on the Great Wall.

Dear Betsy and family,
Although I did not have the honor of knowing your precious Mom, I know you, and that, in and of itself, speaks volumes about your Mom.  While it has been many years now, the sharpness of the loss of my own Mom has dulled and that empty ache has been replaced with such sweetness.  So hold tight to memories that comfort, lean on friends for support and strength, and always remember how much you are loved.   I wish I was closer, instead of separated by so many, many miles – I would just come and sit with you awhile.   Let the love of those around you help you through the days ahead and remember you and your family remain in our hearts and prayers!
