Joan “Goody” Brynjulson passed peacefully into Heaven’s Gate on the morning of December 25, 2016 in Henderson, Nevada, she was 84. Goody was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Russell; her parents, Guy and Blanche Simons; brothers, Ardell, Mark, Warren, Richard; and sister, Arlene. Goody is survived by her 2 sons, Kirk (Becky), Ken (Toni) and 2 daughters, Kathy Gebhardt (Dave), and Karla; grandchildren, Andrea Brynjulson, Josi Gebhardt, Russell Brynjulson (Anna), Brook Schafte (Justin), Ben Gebhardt, Beau Brynjulson, Randy Rudel, Russell Rudel (Kristina) and Breanna Brynjulson; great-grandchildren, Austin Schafte and Alana Rudel; her brother, Bill (Verna); and several nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved deeply. Rosary is scheduled for 5:00 pm, Thurs., Jan. 12, 2017 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 13670 E 13th Place, Aurora, CO 80011. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 am, Fri., Jan. 13, 2017 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Burial, immediately following at Mount Lindo Memorial Park.
