

John was born February 15, 1949, in San Antonio, Texas, to Herbert and Dorothy Warner. He loved the Texas outdoors and would often recount summers spent fishing off the gulf coast with his parents and siblings. As an adult, he moved to Denver to be near his parents and became a lifelong National Park Pass holder. An avid reader, John loved books of all kinds, especially mysteries and science fiction. He will especially be remembered for his quirky sense of humor and insatiable appetite for learning new things.
John is survived by sister Penny and brother-in-law Ralph; sister Abby and brother-in-law Fred; sister Lucinda; brother Paul; sister Missy and brother-in-law David; and nieces and nephews including: Karyn, Katie, Mandy, Lauren, Jeffrey, Sara, Jared, Jacob, Allie and Joey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Dorothy.
