

Survived by her husband of 38 years John R. Lowry, daughter Amy Richie and husband Brian, three grandsons- Jarrett, Casey and Pryce, brother Dr. Michael Andrews and wife Pam. Judy had three nieces Lisa Jack, Carrie Lowry, and Jamie Sanders. Two nephews, Jason Andrews and Chris Lowry and a host of extended family and devoted friends. Judy was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Vesta Andrews and Sister-in-Law Shirley Andrews.
Judy grew up in and around Brownwood, Abilene and Colorado City, Texas. She attended Brownwood High school and graduated in 1966. Judy ventured on to Howard Payne College for two years and then transferred to Texas Tech where she earned a degree in Education.
Judy left Texas in 1970 to ski in Colorado. While here she met John in 1971 and they planted their roots together in Colorado on November 3, 1972 when they married. She worked for The Associated General Contractors of Colorado and later became a homemaker, mother and entrepreneur.
Judy’s main focus over the last few years was her 3 grandsons. She LOVED going to baseball games, picking the oldest up from school daily, playing Wii bowling with them and just spending as much time as possible with her boys.
She also was a collector of cookbooks, a gourmet cook and she loved to cook for her family, she also enjoyed traveling, reading and spending time in the mountains.
Judy was an exceptional person who was always a happy person; she always lived on the bright side of life no matter what her circumstances were. She had two mantras that she lived by daily….do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do and Lord, make me a blessing to someone today.
