Julie grew up in River Forest, IL. and attended Illinois State University, where she earned a graduate degree in Speech Pathology. She married Chuck LeClercq and together they raised two children, Erin and Daniel. She lived most of her married life in Johns Creek, GA and worked as a speech pathologist with preschool children in the Gwinnett County, GA school district. Julie loved her job and cherished all of the children with whom she worked.
Julie was a dedicated mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, family and friend gatherings and compassionate nature. Her grace and strength throughout her struggle is an inspiration to many.
Julie is preceded in death by her husband, Chuck LeClercq, her mother, Patricia McDonnell, and her father, John McDonnell.
Julie is survived by her daughter, Erin LeClercq Ragaller, of Castle Pines, CO, her son, Daniel LeClercq, of Chattanooga, TN, her son-in-law, Nick Ragaller and her beloved grandsons, Logan and Colson Ragaller.
A Celebration of Julie’s life will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Castle Rock, CO on Friday, December 9, 2022. There will be a viewing at 10:00 am, at the church and Mass at 11:00 am. The funeral Mass will be streamed from the St. Francis of Assisi website at 11:00 am.
