Juvencio Ruben Estrada Lopez

Juvy was born to Ana Virginia Lopez de Leon and Juvencio Gregorio Estrada Santizo on the 15th of April 1974 in Salcajá, Guatemala. Juvy leaves behind his mother, Ana Virginia, his brothers David and Ramon, his sisters Anigretthe & Sayra, and his husband Rick.

His early childhood years were spent in Guatemala, and his adolescent years in Mexico. After his schooling years Juvy went to the United States, where he settled in Chicago. There in Chicago Juvy met his husband Rick, and they were married in 2011. Rick & Juvy made their home in Chicago, Seattle and Centennial, CO. Together they raised and doted on ‘their kids’ — various small dogs. Juvy worked in hospitality services, holding various positions, from bellman and server to bartender and manager; he was known and remembered by all who encountered him for his infectious spirit and eagerness to be of service.

Forever the gracious host, he loved spending time in the kitchen, and hosting grand parties and elaborate meals for friends and family. Juvy will be remembered by all those who loved him for his genuine love and devotion to others. He truly was a ray of sunshine who brightened every life he touched.

A celebration of life service is scheduled for 3 pm on 18th of November 2023 at Olinger Chapel Hill, 6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121.
