She was the youngest of three children.
She attended high school in Goodland Kansas.
Kathy moved to Colorado and began work at Jeppesen in 1954 where she met the love of her life, Harold Strauch.
They were married July 8, 1956 and were married for 67 years.
Kathy enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Her interests included sewing, bowling, the Denver Broncos, playing cards, doing puzzles, and spending time in Black Hawk, Colorado.
She is affectionately known to her family as The Rivel Kuga Master!
Kathy spent her time raising and nurturing her three children, Mark, Greg and Susan.
Mark lives in Morrison, Colorado with his wife Tisha.
Greg lives in Aurora, Colorado.
Susan lives in Pittsboro, Indiana with her husband, Mark Cleveland.
Kathy’s grandchildren, Spencer and Madeline Cleveland, live in Illinois.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Pauline (Don) Renner and Richard (Pat) Barnett.
She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
