Keil Marie Ahlbrandt passed away unexpectedly on October 31, 2025. She was born in Denver, Colorado on April 15, 1987. She is survived by her parents, John and Jeanne; her brother, Carter; her aunt, Cheryl Ahlbrandt; her aunt and uncle, Glen and Joyce Keil; her cousins Brad and Erik Keil, and many family members that love her dearly.
Keil had a remarkable gift for making those around her feel seen, valued, and loved. Her warmth, laughter, and radiant spirit filled every room she entered and left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She built lifelong friendships that reflected her generous heart and vibrant personality.
Keil graduated from Cherry Creek High School in 2005, where she was an active member of DECA and other school-sponsored clubs. She attended the University of Kansas, earning a Communications degree in 2009. Upon graduation, Keil built a successful career in business development within the print and media industry.
Keil possessed a creative eye and a love for design, which she expressed in many aspects of her life. She never came across anything that couldn’t be monogrammed and was dressed to the nines at all times. Along with those talents, it was her compassion, humor, and ability to make others feel like they belonged that defined her most. Her most cherished times were spent with her family and friends. Though her time with us was far too short, the light she shared continues to shine brightly in the hearts of all who know and love her. She will forever be remembered for her kindness and the love she gave so freely.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 14, at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish, located at 8035 South Quebec Street, Centennial, CO 80112. A Celebration of Life reception will follow at The Inverness, located at 200 Inverness Drive West, Englewood, CO 80112.
In tribute to Keil, guests are encouraged to wear bright colors or animal prints.
