My deepest sympathy to the Colorado cousins.  Uncle Kenny was a very impressionable part of the Winghart family.  Even though miles seperated the families, Uncle Kenny was thought of often and still will be.  The legacy of receiving a "Batso" everytime we saw him will be greatly missed. Uncle Kenny & Aunt Patsy were great to be around with such great senses of humor.  We loved our trips to Colorado and the adventures that Uncle Kednny took us on. I will forever remember his smiling face, it seems that he was always smiling. I am sure that he still is. They were both wonderful relatives and will be greatly missed!! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

With deepest sympathy to our daughter-in-law Adrienne, Paige, Ellie and Aaron.  We're so sorry that Paige and Ellie will not have memories with Opa in their older years, and that Adrienne doesn't have more time with Ken after loosing Mom just 2 years ago.  We will always remember sitting in Aaron and Adrienne's little apartment on the day baby Paige was brought home from the hospital - 4 grandparents taking turns holding the new expanded Roberts/Winghart family.  Peace to you all.

My deepest sympathies to Christopher, Andrew, Jerimiah and Adrianne and all their families.  Enjoyed having your father as my Uncle.  Always entertaining from early on baaaazoles(a quick finger flick to the head) to the big Wisconsin mosquitoes he has and always will have a special place in my heart.  The Wingharts of Elm Grove, WI;  Michael Winghart one of the "weakfish brothers".  Still remember the excursion in the "Bergie" to Chuck E Cheese.  "Fight On" as my son Andrew(USC)would say.

We are still having trouble accepting Kenny's untimely death.  He was an awesome brother, fun to grow up with.  We remember years of good times; family visits to Denver, ski trips.  Kenny was a wonderful travel companion,  always enthusiastic.  His dedication to his family was beyond normal expectations (visiting Christopher almost daily for years).  We will miss his visits to his hometown, Milwaukee.  He was a very creative person: designer, builder, architect extrodanere.  We cannot express how much we are missing him.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your sorrow.  We are so thankful we were able to share his last hours with him.  Uncle George and Aunt Joyce.

Our deepest sympathies to Miah and his family.  We only met Ken once at breakfast, but he seemed to be a very likable man, and I'm sure, knowing Miah, that he was a father who spent a great time raising a good family.  May his spirit soar and find peace.

My Dad (Harvey Jensen) just called and told me the news.  Your Dad had coffee and cinnamon rolls with my Dad 2 weeks ago.  He and I both appreciated those Sunday morning excursions after Mass.  

I remember seeing you kids -- and your big, bright smiles -- in old Englewood (Sherman Street?) when all of us were youngsters. My Dad and I are hoping to make the service on Thursday.  Our hearts go out to you all... Janice

My condolences to my cousins Christopher, Andrew, Jeremiah, and Adrienne.  Many great memories of Uncle Ken such as the trips to 7-11 and La Casa Bonita, his impersonation of Ned Flanders, and his nickname of my two older brothers Mike and Mark as  "the Weakfish Brothers ". :)

My favorite memory of Ken will always be during the first days I knew him.  While we were all visiting Andrew and his family, Miah, Ken and I spent an afternoon walking around the San Francisco waterfront.  After a while we ended up at the Ghiradelli Chocolate Factory.  As you walk into the store they hand you a free chocolate square and Ken went through again in order to sneak a second.  When he came back out I joked that he should go for a 3rd round and this wry little smile crossed his lips.  You could see the temptation in his eyes, but he decided not to.  It was at that moment I knew where Miah gets his playfulness and spirit.  Ken, you will be missed by all you knew, but your memory will live on in all who were fortunate enough to share a good moment with you.

There is not much one can say to ease the passing of a parent. I was lucky enough to meet Ken and experience his friendship and generosity. He was a good man. Remember him with joy instead of sorrow. My condolences to all of the Winghart family.

Miah, this must be really tough.  losing both parents in such a short time is beyond reason. I know you have a strong bond with your siblings, and my guess is that's what's going to help get you through this.  Though i didnt know him, i can see the effect he's had on you.  Keep your chin high buddy, because you're a great guy and we know who helped make you that way.
